PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Pacific men's golf team had a stellar day on the links on Friday afternoon at the GCU Invitational.
The Tigers wrapped up the first two rounds of the 54-hole event in a tie for second with UC Riverside. Pacific recorded a three under-par 565, highlighted by a stellar 280 (-4) in the first round.
Individually, Casey Scott shares the lead after shooting identical scores of 69 in the first two rounds. Scott is joined by UCR's Tyler Moore and Long Beach State's Hunter Reed. Daniel Peña is tied for 10th (141, -1) and is followed by Beau Forest (18th, 143), Austin Fox (30th, 145) and Jee Horsangchai (49th, 147).
