STOCKTON, Calif. - Tyler Ward signed a national letter of intent to join the Pacific men's golf team head coach John Cook announced on Thursday. The Ripon, California native will arrive at Pacific in the fall of 2018 as a freshman.
Ward is finishing his high school career at Central Catholic High School in Modesto. The 5-9 righty advanced through the local round of the 2017 USGA U.S. Open qualifying by finishing third with a one-under 70 at Granite Bay Golf & Country Club on May 18, 2017 to move on to the sectional qualifying in Newport Beach.
