Stockton, Calif. - Nine-time NBA All-Star and Hall of Famer Gary Payton will be the guest speaker at the Pacific Men's Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon on Tuesday, November 1st from 12:00-1:30 P.M. at the exclusive Stockton Golf and Country Club located at 3800 Country Club Boulevard.
Payton was a star point guard in the NBA from 1990-2007 for the Seattle SuperSonics, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and Miami Heat. In addition to being a nine-time All-Star, Payton was twice named All-NBA First-Team (1998, 2000) and was the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 1996. He won an NBA Championship in 2006 with the Miami Heat and was twice an Olympic gold medalist, in 1996 and 2000.
