For the first time in her career, Pacific women's basketball's sophomore forward Brooklyn McDavid picked up West Coast Conference Player of the Week honors for her performances that helped Pacific go 2-0 in road games last week.
McDavid averaged a double-double for the week and posted a career high in points on Thursday in the Tigers win at Santa Clara. In Pacific's first game of the week, McDavid carried the Tigers to a 74-70 win over the Broncos when she scored a career-high 28 points by going 12-18 from the field with 11 rebounds. A jumper at 1:18 to play in the game helped extend Pacific's lead to three points and her offensive rebound with 22 seconds to play helped ice the game.
