Anthony Lucchetti’s home run highlighted a big inning for the Delta Mustangs on Tuesday.
Lucchetti hit a three-run homer in Delta’s five-run sixth inning as the Mustangs beat Cabrillo 9-4 at Delta’s Nick Cecchetti Field.
Delta led 4-2 going into the bottom of the sixth. Lucchetti’s smash made it 7-2, and Dario Gomez and Taison Corio had RBI singles.
Kevin Kyle (4-1) went seven innings for the win for the Mustangs (16-4), giving up two runs on five hits and striking out 10.
