Lopsided Third Inning Dooms Tigers

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Tiger softball team dropped the final game of the three-game series 8-3 to host San Diego on Sunday afternoon. Hailey Reed got the start for the second game in a row, going two and two-thirds with one strikeout and six earned in the shortest outing of her career. Kenya Lindstrom tossed three and-a-third in relief, allowing just two earned. At the plate Caitlin Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a double and Jessica Pasco went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

The loss brings the Tigers to 18-21 overall, 1-2 in West Coast Conference action while the victory brings San Diego to 16-16 on the year, 2-1 in conference play.
