After a lackluster start to the season, the Stockton Ports are on a roll.
The Ports held Modesto to one hit in a 2-0 win Saturday night in Modesto, extending Stockton’s winning streak to three games.
Xavier Altamirano started the game for the Ports (4-6), pitching six innings with one hit, one walk and six strikeouts along the way. Relievers Jesus Zambrano and Nick Highberger combined to finish the one-hitter.
Right fielder Jameson Hannah went 3 for 4 for Stockton, with teammates Hunter Hargrove and Alfonso Rivas each adding two hits.
