The Pacific softball team took two from visiting Bucknell on Wednesday.
The Tigers beat Bucknell 3-0 in the first game of a doubleheader, then scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to steal the nightcap, 3-2. The wins move Pacific to 8-12 on the season.
In the opener, Linden High product Carly Lucchetti and Madison Kahwaty each had doubles. Hailey Reed scattered six hits in the pitcher’s circle, striking out three in the shutout performance.
Lucchetti had two more hits in the second game, and Caity Sung’s RBI single in the bottom of the sixth served as the go-ahead run.
