Lafayette Dorsey scored 19 points and made all four of his free throws in the final 11 seconds as the Pacific’s men’s basketball team beat Elon 65-57 late Saturday night in the final game of the Tigers Thanksgiving Classic in front of a crowd of 1,630 at Spanos Center.
The Tigers won two of their three games in the tournament and improved to 5-3.
The Phoenix (2-4) scored the first six points of the game, but Pacific shook it off and led 33-26 at the half.
Elon never got closer than five points in the second half.
