The Pacific baseball team faced Santa Clara on the road Friday night, and the Tigers found themselves needing two runs in the top of the ninth inning to stay alive.
They got the two, then added two more in extras to steal a win.
Pacific beat Santa Clara 9-8 in 10 innings, led by Tyler Ryan’s two doubles and three RBI. Kevin Sandri also had a pair of hits, with Bryce Kirk driving in two.
It was Ryan’s double in the top of the ninth that scored a pair of his teammates to tie the game.
