STOCKTON – Shane Golobic had been in this position before, only this time he had enough fuel to finish the job.
Three months ago he had the lead in Stockton and ran out of gas with two laps to go. On Saturday night fuel wasn’t a problem, and he cruised to victory in the 360 Sprint Car Challenge Tour main event at Stockton 99 Dirt Track, located at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds.
Golobic took the lead with seven laps to go, and admits he did think about what happened on May 27.
