When she made the decision to join six fellow Dominican nuns last June on the Camino de Santiago, the pilgrimage to the tomb of St. James in Compostela Spain, Sister Abby Newton had one goal in mind. "I'm pretty competitive. I'm the fifth of six kids," she said. "I went with the idea I was going to get my Compostela (the certificate awarded to those who walk 100 kilometers). Sadly, I really wasn't concerned whether everyone else got theirs. I was going to get mine, and if the others fell by the wayside, OK "Then, on the third day, I wrote in my diary, 'it won't mean the same unless everybody gets theirs.
