SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference announced senior pitcher Kenya Lindstrom as the WCC Player of the Week Monday morning.
Lindstrom earns the honor, along with Saint Mary's position player Bailey Lotz, following a shutout victory in the Tigers' season-opener against Buffalo last Friday at the Cal State Fullerton Titan Classic.
The Denver, Colorado native delivered 6.0 scoreless innings striking out a pair of batters to help Pacific gain it's first win of the 2019 season by a final score of 11-0.
Lindstrom went 3.0 perfect innings versus the Bulls to start out the game before surrendering one a walk in the bottom of the fourth.
