Brooke Bryant has returned to Linden from icy Mankato, Minnesota for the first break in her collegiate hockey career.
The 18-year-old said her time at Minnesota State University has thus far been a winter wonderland. In her freshman season, Bryant is quickly adjusting to the college game and is second on the Mavericks in goal scoring.
Of course, she is happy to be home.
“It’s tough being away from my family. They have always been close to me and traveled with me. So it’s good to be back for the holidays,” Bryant said.
Her parents, Scott Bryant and Tara Podesta-Bryant, have made a few trips to Minnesota to see her play.
