A Stanford man is steering the Pacific baseball program again.

Sound familiar? It should.

Thirteen years ago, Ed Sprague Jr., a former St. Mary’s High, Stanford and Major League Baseball player, began as Tigers coach and remained through 2015.

Ryan Garko, who was unveiled as Pacific’s new coach Tuesday, played for the Cardinal in the early 2000s.
