Late Comeback Bid By #5 Tigers Falls Short at #3 UCLA

LOS ANGELES - The No. 5 Pacific men's water polo had its late comeback bid at No. 3 UCLA fall just short Saturday evening at Spieker Acquatics Center. Engin Ege Colak scored three goals, including his 50th of the season.

Pacific posted a 6-1 fourth quarter, but UCLA had built an 11-5 lead entering the final period and held on behind eight saves from goalie Aleksandar Ruzic.

Kale Ai, Luis Araya, Luke Pavillard and Ben Stevenson each scored twice for Pacific. The Tigers scored seven goals on the power-play, finishing 7-for-12 on the power-play

Matt Farmer led UCLA with four goals while Alex Roelse added three for the Bruins.
