STOCKTON, Calif. – Sydney Lahners and Rachel Sellers have both been named to the All-West Coast Conference Preseason Team, the conference announced this afternoon. The honor comes after both players represented Pacific on the All-WCC Second Team following the 2016 season.
Lahners saw action in all 48 games for the Tigers last season. The Laguna Hills, Calif. native batted .320, which was the third highest on the team, with six homeruns and ten doubles. The first baseman logged a team-high 385 putouts and had a stellar .992 fielding mark. Against WCC foes, Lahners batted a team-high .
