STOCKTON, Calif. - Junior forward, Kriekie van Wyk has been named the America East Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Over the weekend, van Wyk led the Tigers to a pair of wins over conference rivals California and UC Davis as she recorded a total of nine points scoring four goals and recorded an assist.
Against the Golden Bears, van Wyk netted a goal on a penalty corner for the first goal of the game in the 3-2 win. Facing the Aggies, van Wyk recorded her second hat trick of the season scoring back-to-back goals in the first half followed by her third goal of the game off of a penalty corner leading the Tigers to the 6-1 win.
