STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific field hockey senior Kriekie van Wyk claimed her third postseason accolade Tuesday afternoon, when she was named to the Synapse Sports All-America Third Team.
Van Wyk becomes just the second-ever player in program history to be named All-America on three occasions. Former Tigers Luci Lagrimas was named All-America in 1982, 1983, and 1984.
The Tigers' leading forward wraps up a stellar three-year career, which includes statistical totals of 61 goals, 22 assists, and 144 points. As a senior, she compiled a shot-on-goal percentage of .667, en route to a career shot-on-goal percentage of .
