SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Pacific women's volleyball outside hitter Kaitlyn Lines was named the West Coast Conference's Volleyball Player of the Week following a stellar weekend that included the Tigers going 2-0 at home against Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine.
The sophomore from Gilbert Arizona hit .417 after totaling 13 kills and just one error in 24 total swings during Thursday's 3-0 sweep of the LMU Lions. Defensively, she totaled nine kills and was flawless in the receive (16 total attempts).
Then on Saturday, Lines smashed a team-high 25 kills, while also recording eight digs to lead the Tigers to a five-set win over the Waves.
