San Bruno, Calif. – Pacific senior Julio Cervantes was named West Coast Conference Player of the Week for week five, the conference announced today. Cervantes is just the second player in program history to be named WCC Player of the Week after goalie Josh Adachi earned these honors in week three of last season.
This past weekend, Cervantes scored in the 2-0 upset against No. 11 San Diego State as well as in the 2-0 win over Cal State Fullerton for his third-straight game with a goal. The senior has also logged a point in every game of the Tigers' current six-game win streak.
