Jake Jones likely will find a moment today to reflect on what he’s thankful for.
He will think about his parents, Max and Lesli, his uncle, Rex, and those along the way who have helped make his academic and football dreams a reality.
“I’m thankful for the people in my life who have allowed me to get to this position,” the 22-year-old from Stockton said.
Jones plays tight end on the UCLA football team and is a regular this season on the Bruins' travel squad. The former defensive lineman and tight end at Lincoln High will be in uniform for the final time Saturday against Cal in Berkeley.
