Pacific men's soccer's Jonathan Jimenez earned the Tigers their first WCC Player of the Week honor of the season today. He is sharing the honor with Remi Prieur, a junior goalkeeper from St. Mary's.
Jimenez, who is in his first season with the Tigers after transferring from Seton Hall, was crucial in Pacific's two wins this week over previously unbeaten Stanford and UC Irvine. On Thursday, Jimenez scored the game's only goal to help the Tigers hand the three-time defending National Champions their first loss in nearly a year and the first loss at home in more than a year.
