Pacific women's basketball picked up four West Coast Conference postseason honors today including sophomore guard Valerie Higgins' WCC's Defensive Player of the Year honor.
Higgins also landed on the All-WCC First Team while sophomore guard Brooklyn McDavid was a second-team selection. Senior guard Ameela Li was named as an honorable mention selection for the second year in a row. Higgins is the first Tiger to ever win WCC Defensive Player of the Year in her first season and makes it six-straight years for the Tigers that at least one player has garnered First Team honors.
