RIVERSIDE, Calif. - A Cassidy Gustafson grand slam in the sixth inning against Missouri-Kansas City helped the Tigers open up UC Riverside Tournament play on Friday morning with a 9-1 (6) victory. Pacific would end up splitting on the day as they fell 8-7 to UC Riverside. In game one, The Tigers strung together 13 hits in the contests while only giving up three in the victory. Marissa Young tossed six innings with just as many strikeouts as Pacific run ruled the 'Roos in six. Caitlyn Sung went 3-for-4 at the plate and Cassidy Gustafson hit her second-career grand slam which secured the victory for Pacific.
