STOCKTON, Calif. - Pacific head coach James Graham was named Golden Coast Conference Women's Water Polo Coach of the Year as the unanimous selection of the other head coaches in the conference.
Graham is in his fifth season as head coach of the women's water polo team, and has led the Tigers a bevy of program firsts. The Tigers won the GCC tournament, earned the program's first NCAA bid, won an NCAA opening round game, and have advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals all for the first time in program history. The Tigers also have set a new program record for highest national ranking twice, spending seven weeks at number nine before moving up to a new best of number eight in the latest edition of the CWPA Top 25 (a new poll will be released on Wednesday).
