DAVIS, Calif. – Jasmine Gonzalez and Emma Winkler went 1 and 2, for collegiate athletes in the 3000m Saturday to lead the Pacific women's track and field team at the Aggie Open in Davis, Calif.
Their race finalized a two day meet which had a school record and numerous personal Records.
Four Tigers competed in the 3000m, Gonzalez, Winkler, freshman Daniella Del Toro, and true freshman Kimberley Villegas Jimenez. Gonzalez and Winkler once again led the team with a smart tactical race. Gonzalez running a time of 10:38.39 and Winkler running a career-best 10:38.
