AZUSA, Calif. – Three women's runners competed the Thursday in Azusa Pacific's annual Bryan Clay Invitational.
Thursday's action consisted of a distance carnival that included the men's and women's 3000 meter steeplechase and the men's and women's 5000 meters.
Jasmine Gonzales highlighted the group finishing fourth in the fifth of eight heats in the 5000 meters. The sophomore from Madera broke her own program record by over 20 seconds after clocking a time of 17:23.55.
In the final heat of the night Saira Purhar finished second with a personal-best time of 18:37.
