STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific slipped in game two of the series to Gonzaga University, 5-2, on Saturday night.
The Tigers fall to 14-19 overall and 5-9 in conference action, while the Bulldogs improve to 17-16 on the season and 8-6 in conference.
After three scoreless innings, the Tigers tallied the first hit with James Free knocking a single to right field. Bradley Jekich hit a sacrifice bunt to advance Free to second. The next two at-bats loaded the bases with Lucas Halstead being walked and Michael Ricupito singled to shortstop.
