    Gio Brusa had no clue when a Major League Baseball franchise would decide to select him and change his life.
    So the 22-year-old and former Pacific outfielder went about his Friday like he would any other.
    Brusa woke up, partook in a workout with his strength coach John McBride, and went to his “favorite place for breakfast”: his grandmother’s house.
