Stockton, Calif. – Senior men's swimmer Georan Meendering has been selected as the Tigers' Competitor of the Month for May. Only nine student-athletes earn the distinction every year in Pacific Athletics and Meendering is the final Tiger to earn the distinction for the 2015-16 academic year. The Competitor of the Month award is given each month to a Pacific athlete who demonstrates unusual or remarkable competitive effort, focus, and discipline.
Georan was one of 10 athletes on the swim team who were set to compete at the US Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska at the end of May.
