STOCKTON — The new face of the Pacific baseball program has bounced between California, Texas and Oklahoma in the past few weeks.
He’s been in planes, buses and cars, and through his travels, has found a new dugout to call his own.
So Ryan Garko, the former Stanford and big league baseball player who was introduced as the Tigers head coach Tuesday, is exhilarated and fatigued.
Not to mention, occasionally disoriented.
“There have definitely been mornings where I’ve woken up and not known which city I’m in,” the 36-year-old Garko said, standing on the grass of Klein Family Field early Tuesday evening.
