STOCKTON — The University of South Carolina doubled its basketball pleasure Monday night.

And the Gamecocks now have two teams in NCAA Final Fours.

Top-seeded South Carolina defeated third-seeded Florida State 71-64 to win the NCAA Women's Stockton Regional before a crowd of 3,134 at Stockton Arena.

The Gamecocks of coach Dawn Staley advance to the women's Final Four in Dallas, where they will face Stanford in a Friday night semifinal. Connecticut and Mississippi State will meet in the other matchup.

Monday's victory is another accomplishment in an amazing string of basketball success for the university from Columbia, South Carolina.
