One day after losing their NBA G League home opener at Stockton Arena, the Stockton Kings posted their first victory of the season on the road.
Marcus Williams recorded 21 points, 10 assists and five rebounds, and Cameron Reynolds had 20 points to go along with seven rebounds as the Kings held off the South Bay Lakers 108-106 on Saturday night at the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo.
Daniel Ochefu scored 18 points and had six rebounds and two assists, and Wenyen Gabriel had 15 points, eight rebounds, two steals and four assists. Kalin Lucas added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Kings (1-1).
