Wednesday’s game in Santa Cruz didn’t start well for the Stockton Kings, and it didn’t improve as time went on.
The Warriors scored 26 points in the first quarter and 49 in the first half on their way to a convincing 123-104 win at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz. It was the first meeting between the NBA G League affiliates of the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors.
Cameron Reynolds hit a three pointer for the G-Kings with 3:04 left in the period and trailing 25-19, but Stockton went cold and didn’t score again in the quarter.
