The Stockton Kings selected a pair of forwards in the opening rounds of the 2018 NBA G League Draft.
The G-Kings, Stockton’s newest professional sports franchise, picked Terry Maston in the first round and Anthony Walker in the second round on Saturday. The team begins practicing this week and debuts at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 against the Oklahoma City Blue at Stockton Arena.
Maston, the eighth pick overall, is a 6-foot-8 forward out of Baylor University. As a senior last season, Maston averaged 11.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 23 minutes in 28 games, and was named the Big 12 Conference’s sixth man of the year.
