STOCKTON, Calif. - Geoff Fry of the Pacific golf team has been named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Wednesday.
This award is the second academic award for Fry this year after he was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team in April. Fry competed in ten tournaments for the Tigers this year and averaged a stellar score of 73.33. The senior had a team-high 22 rounds at 75 or under this season as well as four under par rounds. In his best finish this season, Fry paced the Tigers at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational by posting even par at the Stockton Golf and Country Club.
