Fresno State nips Pacific in OT

STOCKTON - The Fresno State men's basketball team rallied to beat Pacific 70-68 in overtime on Saturday, and ended the Tigers' perfect run at Spanos Center this season.

Paul Watson led the Bulldogs with 18 points, including the game-clinching free throws with 29.3 seconds to play.

Ray Bowles drove for Pacific's final layup attempt with 9 seconds left. He missed and Maleke Haynes rebounded, but his putback also bounced away to the disappointment of many of the 2,051 in attendance.

It was Bowles who nailed a shot-clock beating 3-pointer to tie the game at 49 with 6:06 to play.
