MADERA, Calif. - The men's golf team placed 11th at the Nick Watney Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. Sitting in 10th place to start out the day, the Tigers slipped one spot to close out the tournament despite an impressive performance by junior Austin Fox.
University of Nevada Reno took first place in the tournament with a combined 30-under par and 282 third round performance. The Orange and Black would go on to shoot 294 on the day, it's the best performance as a team to complete the two-day tournament.
Fox found his stride on the in the final two rounds of the Nick Watney Invitational.
