Foul Trouble Costs Tigers In 82-61 Loss

SPOKANE, Wash. – In their first game against the nation's No. 1-ranked team in over 26 years, the Pacific Tigers fought hard on defense but fell 82-61 after a second-half surge by the No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs. Pacific falls to 10-19 overall on the season and 4-12 in conference with two games to play in the regular season. Gonzaga is now 28-0 (16-0 WCC).

Pacific turned the ball over just eight times in the game compared to Gonzaga's 13 but shot 33.8% (23-68) from the field. Gonzaga outscored Pacific 26-10 at the free throw line as well to widen the gap.
