A former Pacific men’s golfer has officially played his way on to the Web.com Tour.
This week, Byron Meth secured his qualification in the Final Stage of the Tour’s qualifying tournament at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona.
Meth, who played for the Tigers from 2011-2015, finished in a tie for 22nd place and was 20 strokes under par on the week to punch his ticket to eight Web.com Tour events on the 2019 calendar.
Meth’s week was highlighted by a 64 in the second round.
As a Tiger, Meth took All-American honors as a senior in 2015, becoming Pacific’s seventh golfer in the program’s history to win the title.
