STOCKTON — The University of the Pacific women’s basketball program has cut ties with a player who was arrested earlier this week in connection with a home-invasion robbery in Stockton.
Ariana Vaughn, 19, a former all-state basketball standout at Brookside Christian High School, was one of three females arrested on suspicion of robbery of an inhabited dwelling, burglary and kidnapping to commit robbery, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said. Vaughn is being held at San Joaquin County Jail on $600,000 bail, according to jail records.
