STOCKTON — The Delta College Mustangs are the top-ranked baseball team in Northern California, and they played like it on a chilly day Wednesday at Nick Cecchetti Field.
The Mustangs did little wrong, and Napa Valley made plenty of mistakes. The result was an 18-0 win for Delta, which improved to 11-1.
"We did everything pretty well," Delta coach Reed Peters said. "We've been playing well. And we've been hitting very well."
Because there is no such thing as a perfectly played game, Peters did offer a bit of constructive criticism.
