Stockton, Calif. - Pacific's Ashlyn Fleming was named the West Coast Conference volleyball Player of the Week Monday after hitting .574 with 31 kills in two matches.

Fleming, a freshman middle blocker from San Jose, Calif., hit .800 with 16 kills and no errors against No. 13 BYU on Saturday. The 16 kills were one off her career high, which she recorded in a five-set win over Oregon State back on Sept. 10. Her .800 hitting percentage and her 5.33 kills per set agains the Cougars were both career bests.
