Pacific baseball wrapped up its series with Portland today after the game was canceled due to heavy rains this afternoon in the Stockton area.
The Tigers and Pilots got the game off on time and played two and a half complete innings, but the game was cut short of an official game. The Pilots led the Tigers 4-0 through two and a half innings.
The game was originally halted around 1:45 p.m. with a lightning delay, but the lightning quickly turned into heavy rain and by 3:00 p.m., the game was stopped short by officials. The Tigers were able to honor their seniors with a pregame ceremony under sunny skies in what was set to be their final home game at Klein Family Field.
