NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sophomore Ash Rutherford, junior Kriekie van Wyk and senior Savannah Burns add to their spectacular weekend as they led the Tigers to a 4-0 victory over the Sacred Heart Pioneers Monday morning. Rutherford netted two goals while van Wyk and Burns added a goal each.
The Tigers came out of the gate with offensive prowess as they took their first shot just a few minutes into the game with Rutherford missed just high of the goal. Pacific received their first penalty corner of the game shortly after as van Wyk took the shot, but was saved by the Pioneers goalkeeper.
