Former Pacific men’s tennis player Sem Verbeek enjoys coming back to his alma mater every chance he can get, especially since he is now a professional.
Verbeek, from the Netherlands, gave friends and supporters of Pacific tennis something to cheer about when he defeated American Sebastian Korda in three sets, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3, on the first day of men’s singles qualifying at the Stockton Pro Open on Saturday at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
