WAIPAHU, Hawaii - A goal in the tenth minute off the foot of Bryndís Rún Thórólfsdóttir gave the Pacific women's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Hawaii for their first win of the young 2017 season.
The win propels the Tigers to 1-1-1 overall while the loss drops the Rainbow Wahine to 2-1-0.
The Tigers got on the board in the tenth minute on their first shot on the match as Samia Adam brought the ball up the left side and passed to Bryndís Rún Thórólfsdóttir near the top of the box, who fired the ball past the diving goalie towards the far right post for the score.
