SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Stellar pitching and timely hitting on Saturday helped the Tigers get both games of the double header against Santa Clara, with game one ending in a 7-1 win and game two being a 2-0 victory. The pair of wins gives Pacific five-straight victories, which is their longest win streak this season.
In the first game, Pacific put together 13 hits in the contest including seven straight in their six-run fifth inning. Marissa Young tossed all seven innings, allowing no earned with six strikeouts in her eighth win of the season. Five Tigers logged multiple hits, including Cassidy Gustafson who went 3-for-4 with one batted in and a run scored.
