Doubleheader Sweep Gives The Tigers Eight-Straight Wins

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Tigers made it eight-straight on Saturday as Pacific took both games of the doubleheader over Saint Mary's. It is Pacific's longest win streak since 2003 when the Tigers won nine in a row.

The Tigers edged Saint Mary's 3-0 in game one of the double header. Marissa Young tossed all seven innings in game one with eight strikeouts in the shutout. Cassidy Gustafson hit her team-leading ninth home run of the year on a two-run blast over the scoreboard to cap off the three-run sixth inning. Hailey Reed got the start in game two, going the distance with three strikeouts and two earned.
